Quilt

Here it is...the quilted top cover...
It's been a few months now since we started protecting (against the cats) the top of the bookcase with old pieces of fabric. I finally got something nice done. This is part of my fabric stash reduction. The top of the book case is 14" X 75". I used quilted cotton for the quilted pattern, the back and the border. I used cotton flannel for the batting. I did not want it too bulky, I just needed something to protect the wood against cat's nails.
